A Soldier's Soldier, we were all blessed to have been touched by such a outstanding person.

I will never forget the ruthless killer on the objective screaming and heard miles away, or chipolte runs because we came across a 5 dollar bill. The Ranger tab in one hand and the rosary in the other. This Soldier is proudly seated before God in heaven. While we are left with the eternal memory of one of the most incredible men that any of us will ever meet!Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02159179089389037733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1070802261765025433.post-28670971075424785912010-01-29T05:38:34.267-08:002010-01-29T05:38:34.267-08:00As a retired Army Chaplain, this posting is a real...As a retired Army Chaplain, this posting is a real gem. Very moving... and speaks to the chaplain's sensitivity as to where Soldiers are in their spiritual journey. I could feel you love and respect for Saffar and how much you miss him. It was a beautiful homily that I will share with a home fellowship group this weekend.

I discovered your blogs due reading my son's (http://chdave.blogspot.com) when he began his venture in to Army Chaplaincy. If I am correct you met while deployed in Iraq last year. From the time I read that first blog I've kept you and those you write about in my prayers and will continue to do so.

God bless you and those you serve,

Genenjginonchrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13811036640822972929noreply@blogger.com
