I found out late last night that the results of SFC McG's promotion board should be released sometime today.
Please remember him and them (and the others up for promotion) in your good thoughts and prayers, if you'd be so kind!
I very much hope to be able to "pin on" his new rank before we leave here. (There's actually no pinning involved anymore, given that the rank attaches to the uniform by means of "hook-and-loop fasteners" -- the Army evidently isn't permitted to use the brand name "Velcro" -- but, hey, who's counting?)
He's been a blessing beyond measure to me from the beginning of this mobilization/deployment.
