Take a knee!

Some friends of mine could use some increased and intensified spiritual support.

MRS MSG McG, wife of my erstwhile Chaplain Assistant in Iraq, will be "taking a knee" next week, so please remember her and the medical/surgical team that will be working on her.

She's had a lot of trouble with her knee of late, and prior surgeries don't seem to have helped the situation much, if at all. We're all hoping this time real healing takes place.

Additionally, despite then-SFC McG having been promised by the Guard a full-time job upon his return from our deployment to Iraq (for which he had been given a magnanimous FIVE DAYS to prepare, so last-minute was his mobilization), no job has materialized for him. This has meant serious financial hardship for his family.

So if you have the chance to send up a prayer, or even good thoughts, for MRS MSG McG (and for MSG McG, too), I'd very much appreciate it.

They're important people in my life, though that's just my own opinion, and certainly does not reflect any Official Army Sentiment.

Blessings and peace to one and all,

Fr. Tim, SJ
