Sarajevo 05: The Catholic Cathedral

The Roman Catholic Cathedral in Sarajevo is quite a beautiful place. Just the place outside of which to locate an "Avon" tent, eh?

It's been many years since I have been in a church that's had stained glass windows like these. When I was in college on foreign study in Spain, I loved the colors of the stained glass.

One doesn't see many stone pulpits like this in newer church buildings in the U.S. these days, does one?

There are a couple of bishops who are buried in the cathedral, as is common in European churches like this.

Blessings and peace to one and all,

Fr. Tim, SJ
