SPC C and I saw some lovely, tiny wildflowers blooming on Post when we were visiting Sarajevo. (Actually, *I* saw the wildflowers; I'm not sure he'd noticed them until he saw me down on the ground trying to photograph them. Even then, he didn't seem particularly impressed or interested....)
They really were diminutive, and one probably had to be looking for them in order to be aware of them. As I've mentioned numerous times on this blog, I revel in finding unsuspected beauty, which even weeds can deliver -- if I'm open to the experience.
Life is often like that.
Blessings and peace to one and all,
Fr. Tim, SJ
