Flowers at the hangar

I was on my way out to an aircraft one morning, since I was going flying, and found myself walking through a field of wildflowers as I moved from the hangar to the runway to the landing pad. Some of the grasses and flowers were knee-high, and gave the area a sense of being a meadow. Lovely.

Fortunately for me, I’d actually arrived at the hangar a bit early, so I had time to stop to photograph the flowers I’d otherwise have overlooked, passed by, or actively ignored.

They're mostly just common weeds, but commonness, in this case, doesn't preclude idiosyncratic beauty.

I love it when life is like that!

Blessings and peace to one and all,

Fr. Tim, SJ
