Tragedy

Yesterday was a difficult day here Down Range.

I happened to be nearby to the scene of the tragedy you've probably read about online or in the print media. I suspect I will never forget what happened here, or what I experienced because of the fact of my being a Catholic priest.

All other things being equal, I also hope I never have to experience anything similar again.

Please pray for peace for all involved. Many tears have been shed already, and unfortunately, there are many more yet to be shed.

Blessings and peace to one and all,

Fr. Tim, SJ

Tim,
I'm so sorry you witnessed this tragedy. I hope you and Matt are ok. And I know that you will bring hope and kindness to all those who are hurting and shedding tears. I pray for you, having experienced such a heartbeaking situation, and for Matt. And for all those affected, and their families. Mary

To be clear, I pray for those who died, for the soldier indicted and for the families of all. Including yours. This is one of those times when words don't work. I guess only prayer does, but I'm an amateur in that department; you're the expert.

Every prayer and blessing to you and McG.

Prayers for you, MSG McG and your flock, too, Father Tim.
