My new Battalion Commander asked me to help out with the English Club the Aviators have been conducting twice per week in a nearby town. The Officer who's been taking the lead on this since Task Force Aviation arrived needs a break so he can carry out his other duties, and get some time in the cockpit flying helicopters.
The students are all high-school age, and love mugging for the camera.
Some don't take the classes very seriously, but others work diligently and have made great progress. They're delightful young people, and I came away from our afternoon with them completely exhausted.
I love my job!
