The Visit, revisted

A number of you have expressed interest in knowing who the Distinguished Visitors were who came for a few days.

I guess that since their presence here has been noted in the civilian press here and here, just to point out a few instances, it's OK for me to show you a photo of them, although I'm doing this completely unofficially, of course, and hope *this* post won't be considered a violation of OPSEC.

Our two-star visitor "coined" SSG L (my Rent-a-Chaplain-Assistant for the occasion), who can be seen holding that coin in this second photograph. It delighted me to see how excited SSG L was about all this!

I'm holding the license plate ("Now, you can't actually put this on your car, you know...") and State Flag given to me by the other visitor.

I love my job.

Blessings and peace to one and all,

Fr. Tim, SJ

L has a very nice smile in these photos (especially in the one with the coin)! I see he's still hanging out with you, so he must have forgiven you for your "cat soup" joke. :-)

Keeping you, C, L and your flock in my thoughts and prayers.
