Very little internet access!

I apologize for not having posted in such a long time. I've written posts, but I've not been able to upload them. For reasons beyond my powers of comprehension, Summer Camp - South won't let us have access to the internet. Sigh.

It's very humid here (thunderstorms almost every day, with driving rain). My Chaplain asssistant, SFC McG, and I finally have been issued gear, so we'll actually start training tomorrow, it seems. We'll be away from communications for the following five days, most likely. Hard to believe I've been here a week now, and still have not started real training. Go figure.

My time on this connection is drawing to a close, so I've got to go. Please be patient! As soon as I can figure out a way to get connected, I'll be able to catch you up on all the wonders of Summer Camp - South here in the wilds of southern Mississippi.

Many thanks for your prayers. Let's all pray for peace.

Blessings!

Oh, they probably forgot to tell you that you have to get used to waiting around.

Hope your training goes well.

I am praying for you.

Tim! My goodness! Your life is taking a new and [unexpected] turn. I know that you will provide comfort abroad to those in need [and who are powerless]. I'm taking a break from my Obama adventures.
Much love on your journey,
Diana G.

Hello Father Tim!
My dad and I saw a wonderful article in the Mercury News about your "call to military duty" :) I have enjoyed reading your blog and look forward to keeping up with your writings. Our prayers and thoughts are with you as you continue on your amazing journey. God Bless.
Love and peace,
Emily Tripiano
P.S. A new piano was bought for the church with donations in my mother's memory.

You are amazing...never in the many years that I've known you did I ever think you would enlist. I admire your faith and bravery in following this path that God has placed in front of you. May God bless you as you work to bring comfort and faith to others.
